Designed to be long lasting and maintain >100% stretch and recovery, Prout Shockcord uses only the highest quality pure latex rubber. The outer cover is braided with colourfast polyester to provide superior protection against abrasion and NZ's harsh UV. It has a two component construction with an extremely tough woven outer sheath covering a multi-strand rubber core. The cord is light-weight, strong, wear-resistant and long lasting. All of our shock cord is capable of 100% (+/- 10%) elongation. Particularly suitable for tarpaulin/soft cover tie-downs for trailers, pick-ups, roof-racks, boats, trampolines and garden furniture etc. It can be used to make specific length bungee/luggage straps, tie-downs or luggage nets.
