These fasteners are self locking and cannot come undone once engaged on its peg unless subjected to extreme force. A quick release is accomplished simply by pinching the head of the Tenax button. All Tenax components are non rustable, being made from non-ferrous materials (brass) which are nickel-plated. The 3 components of button, nut and woodscrew peg are sold separately. For over 70 years Tenax fasteners have been used in some of the most demanding applications such as Aircraft, Motor, Marine and Coach industries.
