Owner of the business for 20 plus years, and has had hands on involvement at various stages during that time.  Dennis has a commitment to a quality service brand and has set pretty firm goals in a recent restructure of the business. He has got the company focussed on performance, got the right people on the bus, and has started moving the company into the information age. Working  alongside other businesses with similar values, whether suppliers, customers or service providers, is now an important company philosophy.

Grant Stewart

Grant has been with R&T for nearly 30 years and in 2012 took up a shareholding and directorship in the company.  He has worked through the warehouse, customer services, sales, & for the last few years as Assistant General Manager. He is an integral member of the Reid & Twiname team and has an indepth knowledge of our operations, our products, our customers and the industry. Grant has the high values & business ethics necessary to step up in the business. Grant is married with 2 daughters in their 20’s. He is a single figure handicap golfer, and into family, rugby, fishing and the outdoors.

Grant Barlow

Christchurch Branch Manager

Grant has had some 30 years involvement in the supply side of the industry from warehouse person to Branch Manager. He has worked in both the North & South Islands & is extremely enthusiastic about what he does & how he does it. Grant enjoys the team environment and the strong company culture at R&T, and has been instrumental in growing the position of R&T in the South Island.

Joe has been with R&T over 6 years starting in customer services & moving into his Sales Reps position a few years ago. He thrives on the customer interaction the job gives him. Joe is a family man with 3 young children, and we all know what that means. His interests are fishing & socializing with friends.

Carel arrived from Holland in 1981 and has a background in technical sales in the commercial and residential carpet industry.  He is married and has three adult children.  Carel can be found in the gym, tramping, rock climbing or working on his lifestyle block in Ohakune.

Aaron is the newest member of our sales team, with a great 6 year sales rep history.  He is the father of two, that are the cause of his grey hairs.  Aaron loves getting out on the road and the one on one with customers.  Whilst he has a passion for all cars he is a true fan of all things Holden.

Michael is a new addition to R&T. He has over 13 years in engineering sales, specializing for the last 5 years in the transport engineering, coach building & marine industries. Identifying solutions for customers is what drives him. Michael is an outdoors man as well as getting into DIY renovations.

Kane has over 20 years experience in the outdoor and industrial textiles industry, and has worked in both manufacturing and sales roles. Kane is based in Christchurch and really enjoys building strong positive relationships with his customers. He is a keen mountain biker & loves travel & the great outdoors.

Left to right: Chris, Noel, Albert & Daniel. Albert, who has been at R&T for over 15 years manages this team. Noel, who has been at R&T over 20 years is his right hand man and is spending more time now supporting Motor Body Hardware sales. Chris & Daniel are relatively new but both come from engineering trade backgrounds.

Administration Team

Top left to bottom right: Pat, Tasha, Sharee, Gary & John. Pat is Operations Manager, Tasha is Accounts Receivable, Sharee is Accounts Payable, Gary is Procurement Manager & John is Finance & Administration Manager. This is the behind the scenes team, supporting the staff and making it easier for customers to choose R&T.
